Recorder Artist
I am Kimia Hadian, a professional musician from Iran, currently based in Amsterdam. My artistic journey has been shaped by a deep passion for early music, spanning medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and contemporary repertoire. Holding a Bachelor of Music from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I have performed extensively both as a soloist and collaborator, exploring the expressive potential of music across diverse periods. My work bridges Western early music traditions with Eastern musical influences, creating a unique dialogue through sound.

Education
With over seven years of teaching experience, I offer music education starting from age three through to adult learners. Utilizing the Orff Schulwerk method, I conduct group and private lessons designed to foster creativity, musical understanding, and technical skill development. My teaching focuses on nurturing students of all ages and backgrounds, with an emphasis on early music traditions and contemporary practices.
Event and Artist Management
I currently work at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam as an artist handler and event collaborator, supporting the smooth organization and execution of concerts and masterclasses. I am also part of the organizational team of the Utrecht Oude Muziek Festival, one of the most prestigious early music festivals, contributing to its event organization.
Sound and Video Engineering
In parallel with my performing career, I work as a sound engineer at Mezrab Amsterdam, delivering professional live sound support for concerts and recordings. At the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I contribute as a video engineer, managing live streams and recordings of performances and educational events. This combined expertise allows me to support artistic projects with a comprehensive technical skill set.
